Autism is a neurological disturbance that affects an individual ability to speak and/or communicate properly. We have discussed several types of therapy:

Many types of treatment are tested for autistic children because each child has its own particularity and responds differently from other children. Therefore there are no standardized methods to treat autism.
We believe that if you try to improve the visual perception of an autistic child, you can provide the child with the ability to see the world more clearly, helping him to be more apt to learn and develop the most needed social skills.
One thing caregivers and parents of autistic children should be careful about is sensory overload. Autistic children are particularly challenged with an environment filled with intense light, colors, contrasts, shapes, patterns, etc. This makes them simply shut down!
If children ought to be exposed to media or objects such as games or computer programs, these games ( toys and others) must be carefully selected by savvy people. The color used must be carefully selected to create a world in perfect harmony appealing to the child's senses of aesthetic.
For instance, a color filter can be used over a page that a child will autism must-read. In fact, the environment of children with autism must have color filters.
